Book Review - The Boy Who Changed the World

I have a confession to make... this book went missing in my house before I could read it. Soooo, this is a book review by two of my children who read it before I could get my hands on it. It's still MIA and I'm praying it turns up soon because the illustrations are warm and happy, just as a good picture book's illustrations should be.

Kelly, age 10, told me the book begins talking about a boy who wanted to feed hungry children, then it goes on to describe a U.S. vice president, then George Washington Carver and others. Each person had an influence on another. Carolyn, age 11, told me about a ripple effect...how one person taught another and that person taught another and so on. Both of my girls said it was a well-written book and was interesting. They both recommend it as a good book for children.

I've heard Andy Andrews tell this story in person and it can be life-changing just thinking about the way everything you do, every choice you make has an effect on others. As a mother, it makes me think twice about many things. It makes me realize that God put me in the lives of my family members specifically because I will make a difference for them. Same with you. You can make an impact on others with your words, encouragement and help...or by withholding your encouragement and help. The choice is yours.

I was proveded this book free of charge by Book Sneeze in order to review it. I was not asked to give a positive review.
