New pictures

We just had new family photos taken yesterday...by a professional photographer...a 16 year old. I didn't want to spend a ton of money but I wanted someone who is good enough. We'll see how the results turn out soon after he's done editing them and gives them to me on a CD. We originally planned to do the shoot on Saturday but rain prevented that. Charity didn't cooperate, she's only three and not into having her photo taken by a stranger. He said he'll try to take her picture when he drops off the CD and then just give me her photo later. She'll be in our backyard, a familiar place and maybe more willing to be captured. Hopefully...at least I am praying for that.

In the meantime... we took a few photos after church yesterday just because. My husband isn't present because he's at his dad's bedside awaiting his departure of this earth. He's being taken care of by hospice nurses and isn't expected to live much longer. Doctors thought he would be gone more than a few days ago. We will miss him, but he's had a good, long time and will be in heaven soon, free of his ailments. He says he's not in pain so we are thankful for that.

Here are the pictures from the impromtu shoot after church and one of three of my children playing music during the service. They played "Oh Come All Ye Faithful."
